Dr. David Allen McGuire, MD

As a teen I ripped my right and left anterior cruciate ligaments in separate accident. My mom and I lived off her income only and her surgery. Dr McGuire offered to do the surgeries for less than cost to help us out. My mom broke down in the office crying and I honestly don't know the results of that conversation. I do know that early this month 30 years after the surgeries, I had MRIs done on both of my knees. They have been hurting more and more, which was expected with this surgery. The right knee more than anything hurt the most. The results of the MRI were stunning, or at least to me they were. There was some thickening around where the titanium screws were but less than anticipated due to Dr McQuire's cutting edge techniques at the time. The problem? I have osteoarthritis in my right knew. Why? Probably from removing the bucket handle tear of the meniscus that had to be done. At the time it was very new surgery to do so arthroscopically. Dr McGuire has made… my life livable and full for the past 30+ years. My first surgery was arthroscopic at age 13. My last was reconstruction at age 15. I just turned 45. Thank you Dr McGuire. His nurse Chris did all the work in the office. He is very rude in his office, but he is suppose to be a great surgeon. He has done 2 operations on my rt knee, but no success.

Dr.McGuire did my knee surgery about 2years ago, my knee has never been better. I did however have the unfortunate luck of meeting his wife. I can honestly say that I threw up in my mouth a bit at seeing her face. The 10lbs of Botox latched to her face is not doing her any favors. She looks as though the creature from the black lagoon and beast man made love and she popped out. Her personality is much like her face dry, leathery and shriveled up. Do yourself a favor and run for the hills if ask to meet this poorly dressed creature.

Wonderful experience, especially after having a mis-diagnosed problem from another doctor. Dr. McGuire was friendly, patient, and clearly explained the procedure as well as what would be involved in recovery. Staff was also great!
