I have been going to Dr Medford for 25 years. Over time my eyes had become progressively worse with cataracts. I was very apprehensive about surgery as my mother was left blind in one eye after undergoing this type of procedure! She was told her eye had rejected the implant device. Dr Medford explained and reassured me about risks and complications. Nothing is ever a given, but he felt 99.9% sure I would have a positive outcome having the laser surgery. All the pretesting he ordered allowed me to get the upgraded lenses. God worked through Dr Medford, as I now have the gift of near and far sight distance. I feel truly blessed! Thank you..

I read extensively on the various lens options and at our pre-op meeting, Dr. Medford presented the choices, the pros and cons, and the personality and lifestyle factors that I should consider in making my choice. He also patiently answered my remaining questions although he had addressed many while presenting the options. Between my two surgeries, Dr. Medford let me try a contact lens in the second eye to better understand one of my options for the second lens choice. In the end, I opted for monofocal lens implants that corrected my distance vision, and I will use reading glasses for close work. I was very fortunate to have both surgeries completed with no complications, and excellent results. I was pleased with Dr. Medford’s skill and the technical results, but equally important was his counseling. He provided me with the information I needed to make a confident choice of what was best for me and helped me through the process of weighing the options to make my choice.

I had the good fortune to be referred to Dr. Medford by my Optometrist for cataract surgery. All of my questions and concerns were patiently answered during my first visit by Dr. Medford. His staff are competent, helpful and guided me thru the process of setting up my surgery after Dr. Medford and I decided on the right procedure for me to achieve the best outcome. The folks at the surgery center also amazing and competent. All questions answered and every step explained as I moved thru the surgery process. I didn't feel rushed but appreciated the efficiency of the team there. My surgeries went very well and the results have exceeded my expectations. Recently had my last follow up appointment with Dr. Medford and both eyes are doing great. I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to recommend Dr. Medford to all family and friends.

I had my cataracts removed by Dr. David Medford. The procedures went very smoothly. From my very first visit, I found Dr. Medford to be very professional, a great listener and a delight to talk to. The staff at Affiliated Eye was accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable and always timely. I showed up one day early for one of my follow up appointments and Kelly managed to squeeze me in so I wouldn't have to come back. Now that is excellent service!
