Dr. Palchak is very compassionate and caring! He always takes his time to explain every detail in simple terms so that you understand and are comfortable. Amazing, professional, extremely kind and all around exceptional!

New patient & rather to area. Referred here by CHC primary care .Still in throes of getting exact DX. (Actually I'm patient of the other Dr. there who I would recommend). Dr. Palchak I do not hold in high regard. . Apparently medi-cal patients aren't allowed pain care even if probable/possible cancer/lymphoma DX as I was just denied RX to bridge holiday weekend by voice mail message by Dr. Palchak. He said to go to pain management which i do not yet have. I'm very young, just now in early forties. Going there w/ my single older mother has been difficult enough on both on us. One can not always explain to ones pain to hold off for a few more days until necessary appts & decisions are made for pain management.. I thought that was the oncologist "do no harm" area of expertise. Especially when a procedure in Sierra Vista Hospital was done just yesterday. I do not understand. I cannot recommend Dr. Palchak

Dr. Palchak is the best hematologist that I have ever seen. I have a weird blood clotting disorder that requires lots and lots of monitoring, and he and his office staff are always amazing. He has done a lot of research into the best treatment for me, is insanely organized and has always listened to me. My last doctor was extremely aggressive about treatment, and it became too much for me- my life consisted of being a patient. Dr. Palchak listened to me and we came up with a plan that involved fewer visits, scans and CTs only if I am actually feeling a symptom- not just because one test came back a little out of range. He is very patient with me, even when I am visited with some denial and cancel. I never feel rushed, his staff is amazing, and he's even been known to call me himself after hours to discuss med changes. I would not call him cold at all- he has a quiet calm that is very reassuring. I would highly recommend him to anyone. It can be hard dealing with cancer or a… chronic blood disorder, and there are some doctors out there who make it even harder. Dr. Palchak makes it easier.

While Dr Palchak may be knowledgeable about his field, he is cold and unfriendly almost to the point of being disrespectful to not only me, but also my family members. His attitude is arrogant and pompous. For what? He should be compassionate toward people with life-threatening illnesses, but he doesn't come across the least bit concerned. If I had to do it over again, I would defininitely find a different doctor. One who has a good bedside manner and personality.

Dr. Palchak is the best....in terms of caring, concern, diagnosis and follow up! I cannot say enough good things about this Doctor and I recommend him to every person who is looking for an excellent Oncologist.

Dr. David Palchak has taken care of me for the past 10 years, ever since I was diagnosed with breast cancer. He is not only the most caring physician I've ever had but also incredibly bright, astute, and up-to-date in the field. I never once felt like a victim of cancer. I interviewed several Oncologists, including in the North and South Counties, and he was clear "winner". I would highly recommend Dr. Palchak to anyone facing cancer.

I WAS FRIGHTNED AND NERVOUS UNTIL I STEPPED INTO DR. PALCHAKS OFFICE. HE WAS VERY CALMING AND COMFORTING.HE EXPLAINED EVERYTHING CLEARLY AND ADVISED ME ON THE COURSE OF MY TREATMENT. I HAD A STAGE 4 TUMOR IN MY COLON. IT WAS ALSO IN MY LIVER AND LYMPH NODES. I AM ALIVE TODAY BECAUSE OF HIS AND HIS STAFF OF WONDERFUL PROFESSIONALS CARE AND TREATMENT. I AM CANCER FREE.HE IS A GREAT DR. AND MY PERSONAL HERO. BRAVO DR. PALCHAK!!!!!!

Dr. Palchak was very professional. He gave me all the information I needed to make a good decision. He answered all my questions and made a frightening situation less stressful. I would recommend him to my friends and family.
