Dr. David Podwall, MD

Based on the other reviews, I booked an appointment for my son. I found the office staff very friendly and efficient and they actually took him in earlier than the appointment time. My son is 19 and chose to go into the exam room by himself. He came out and said that the doctor had berated him for not having his other medical records there (he had been overseas for last 2 months and I had actually had them sent 6 weeks ago but apparently they had never made it). The doctor was very condescending and patronizing and spent approximately 5 minutes with my son and made him feel as though he wasted his time. I was so upset that I went back to the office and said that under no circumstances do I want my son to follow up with him. I wonder if he would have been that curt and rude if I was in the exam room with him. My son has had health issues and has seen many doctors in the last year and a half and has never complained about any of them. Perhaps he had a bad day but I also work in… the health care field and would never speak with a patient the way my son told me he was spoken to no matter what kind of day I was having.

Dr. Podwall has been my Doctor for about three to four years now. Every time I see him, he is always professional. He really cares about his patients. I feel very comfortable asking him for his opinions concerning my health, he has always guided me in the right direction.

I one word - OUTSTANDING!

Dr. Podwall has been a knowledgeable informed physician . He is a true professional in every way. Dr. Podwall answers all my questions and spends a great deal of time explaining any problems and/or questions that I may have. He is compassionate and tries to explain any new medications that may help with my diagnosis. I would definitely recommend Dr. Podwall without any reservation.

Dr. Podwall is exceptionally thorough and professional. You never feel rushed and the office runs extremely well.

I brought my mother to him to see him for her problems with memory. He spent time with us, made my mother feel comfortable and was able to convince her to start treatment. He treated her with kindness and compassion.

It was an extremely satisfactory visit. I was very impressed with the Doctor's kind and generous manner, his patient demeanor, his understanding of my particular situations and his ability to make me feel that time was not a factor in his examination. I think that Dr. Podwall is a superb and very accomplished physician. I would certainly encourage others to seek his medical advise.

Dr. Pod wall was kind yet compassionate for our daughter who is mentally retarded, epileptic, and autistic. He was knowledgeable and even had an associate observe her EEG in-situ. He returned our phone call promptly when we had questions. We found him to be extremely competent
