I'm a New York born and bred pulmonary specialist who has been at Lenox Hill since beginning my practice in 1987. I completed medical school at New York Medical College in 1981, my internship and residency at Lenox Hill hospital and my fellowship in Pulmonary and Critical Care medicine at Long Island Jewish Hospital/ Queens General hospital. I also love to teach the fellows the art of Pulmonary Medicine, and most importantly the essence of humanism in our field. When I'm not seeing patients, I can be found woodworking and building boats.

I saw Dr.Posner for pneumonia and COPD. He is exactly the healer you would search for. He is relentless in in searching possible causes of not so clear conditions. He is kind and brilliant. I was referred to him by another really good Doc and I am very grateful for the recommendation.

Dr. Posner is able to get right to the heart of the matter. I was struggling for a year until I came to him. He has incredible bedside manner, is cautious in his choice of testing and will take the time to explain everything in a way that makes sense to you. The best doctor I've ever had in my life.

Have now been treated by Dr. P several times over 6 months. He is a truly caring and thorough scientist who will answer your questions in understandable language.

This Doctor I would recommend, in my Whole 51 years being alive I was told I had Asthma since age 6 well. DR Posner listened to My Problems I had being short of breathe , his staff did some tests , after a detailed Conversation with me He told me I didn't have asthma , Now he's Referred me for another test ..I am looking forward to seeing this Doctor to find out answers. I would definitely say I am happy I met him , that he's my Doctor ...Do come to this Doctor ..

Dr. Posner is one of the most empathetic physicians I have ever met. He spends time explaining and answered all of my questions thoroughly and was always available when I needed to contact him. I would throughly recommend him as a pulmonologist to any patient requiring his expertise.

Dr Posner is the best. He cares for his patients and has a sense of urgency to see me get better not seen in my other doctors.
