Dr. Puett was raised in Nashville, TN. He attended Dartmouth College in New Hampshire and then returned to Nashville for medical school at Vanderbilt University, graduating with honors in 1988. Following his internship and residency at the University of Washington in Seattle, Dr. Puett completed his training with a rheumatology Fellowship back at Vanderbilt. He joined Carolina Arthritis Associates in 1993. Dr. Puett spends his free time with his wife and three children and enjoys exercising, reading and exploring the outdoors.
