Dr Rabady repaired a total retinal detachment in my left eye & saved my vision in that eye. I now have 20/30 vision in the eye w/o correction & 20/25 with. He has been a dedicated professional, as interested in my experience personally as he is in my circumstances medically.

Almost 2 years ago, I developed large floaters in my eyes that were obstructing my vision. I was seeing another doctor in the area. First, he made me wait 6 months to see if they'd go away and then he started doing laser surgeries. He told me he would have to do several surgeries but that I would see improvement after each one. After 4 surgeries on each eye, $2100 out of pocket, and many months (surgeries have to be 3 months apart), I still saw no improvement and I was very discouraged. I was scheduled for more of these laser surgeries and I wasn't hopeful. My niece got a new job working for Ophthalmic Consultants and mentioned my issues to Dr. Rabady. He said - tell her to come see me, I can help her. Soon after meeting with him, we scheduled my first Vitrectomy. All went smoothly. A month later, I had the second. I now have my clear, sharp vision back. What a relief! Dr. Rabady is kind and caring. I am so, so happy that I found him!

Dr. Rabady successfully performed very delicate surgery on the retina of my eye to remove scar tissue that was severely distorting my vision. The immediate results of exceeded my expectations and my eyesight continues to improve. Dr. Rabady is skilled and thorough. All of my questions about surgical details, risks, and options were clearly explained. Dr. Rabady is available in offices on both sides of the Hudson River, Albany & Schodack are 2 I have used. He is a dedicated and extremely knowledgeable. I firmly believe if I had not received his medical expertise I would not have vision in one of my eyes. Applying his expertise, using the newest high-tech equipment the eye industry has to offer, and by the skillfulness of his hands, Regina has regained her vision. As a nationally published author and grant writer, Dr. David Rabady has saved my career. I have macular degeneration that hemorrhaged. I was in Dr. Rabady's office the next morning and scheduled for surgery immediately. It has been three weeks since my operation and my vision, which was over 20/200 is now 20/40 and 98% of the blood blocking my retina is gone.
