Dr. David Brooks Robie, MD

I found the check in process to be ridiculous. This is an ORTHOPEDIC office and by the time patients reach you, they are surgical candidates meaning their injuries are potentially significant. Why would you have people on crutches, casts or slings on various body parts standing lines to check in? A number system with seating would be much more appropriate. The particular gentleman I had on my first visit was very personable and helpful, I was not so fortunate the second visit, and I can assure you, there will NOT be a third. Dr. Robie was very curt & condescending. I was told by the surgical staff in recovery as well as Dr. Robie that my meniscus repair would be relatively simple and I could return to work within a few weeks. Fast forwarding to now two months post op I have a ver painful, swollen knee with a very visible bone spur that was not there prior to surgery as well as a visible amount of scar tissue that is extremely painful. My MRI showed three different issues yet Dr. Robie… only addressed one and refused to listen to any questions I had by cutting me off mid sentence. I will most likely need subsequent procedures to fix my knee. I would not recommend Dr. Robie. I cannot speak for all the doctors here, but the check in practice could def be more patient friendly.

Run from this man! He told me to “lose weight and my knees would be fine”. I lost 115lbs and don’t you know, I need full knee replacements in both knees. My issues had NOTHING to do with my weight-but he couldn’t get past that. He’s unprofessional, rude and arrogant for a doctor. See anyone but him if you want to be accurately diagnosed.

Dr David Robie is the Best! Very professional and knowledgeable

I first saw a doctor at OSU and was scheduled for knee surgery- after going thru 1/2 of the very complicated pre-surgical procedures I went back to Dr Robie (he had done surgery on me several years ago). His staff was coureous and professional. The process is uncomplicated, the surgery is done right there. OSU requires multiple locations and lots of walking. Dr Robie's facility is very convenient. Dr Robie is knowledgable, capable and I had no post surgical problems. I would recommend him...
