Dr. David Lawrence Sagman

Was evaluated by Dr. Sagman after being in hospital for 10 days with extreme pain in whole body. No one knew the cause. He called me a drug addict. The other doctor had been giving me intravenous morphine. Prior to that, the strongest drug I ever took was 250/500 Vicodin. This man was so rude - told me I need a vacation. I had been in bed for 12 days and didn't know I couldn't walk (RSD in left foot) until I was discharged. I was discharged without proper treatment or pain medication. I have read that RSD is among the worst pain conditions that one can be afflicted with.I learned about a week later that I had Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy though a young intern at county hospital. RSD is an affliction that neurologists should be able to diagnose. His ego and distain because I was a Medi-Cal patient possibly got in the way of him looking beyond deciding that I was a drug addict.I will always remember his lack of empathy and can only hope he learned some over the years.
