Dr. David James Salvatore, DO

Dr Salvatore was called at 4am regarding a rare infection on my husband’s brain. He quickly responded, began treatment, and establish a rapport with the entire family. He was always honest and took the time to be sure we understood the situation to include providing all options, recommendations, and showing us information visually. Sometimes the family could not be present for his updates, but he always let us conference those family members in via the phone. Dr Salvatore was proactive and was constantly consulting with the other doctors. We will be internally grateful for the care my husband received from Dr Salvatore. He will always be held in high regard.

Being in the hospital can be overwhelming at times. He took the time to explain everything to us, answered our questions and helped set the foundations for a solid plan moving forward after our discharge from the hospital.

My husband is in the hospital with a stroke, Dr Salvatore examined my husband, based on the assessment, Dr Salvatore ordered another MRI and instructed the very knowledgeable MRI technicians what he was looking for and the area to concentrate on and they were able to locate the area of the stroke. Very impressed with his knowledge and bedside manner. No question left unanswered, even my stupid basic questions.

He was very compassionate and took the time to listen to me. He made me feel that it was important for me to understand my disease process and be a part of the treatment plan.

He listened to us and sincerely cared about our understanding the medical condition. We were so blessed to have him involve in our care.

Dr. Salvatore doesn't listen to his patients, extremely rude. Asks questions but interrupts when you try to answer.
