Dr. David L Super, DO

I had to have surgery this past Fall. I went to Dr. Super as my second opinion. I had not met him previously, but he was highly recommended by two very close friends. I ended up having him perform the surgery over my main OB/GYN. I was very impressed with his compassion and knowledge, and his ability to make me feel at ease about the surgery. I am now 13 weeks post op and feel absolutely amazing. I had a pretty invasive surgery, but I certainly don't feel like I did. He did an excellent job! And his follow up care, and quick answers to my questions online make my experience with him even better. I am now switching to him as my new doc, after 20 years with someone else.

I had a wonderful patient experience with Dr. David Super recently! I saw him in the office as a referral by my regular OB for a hysterectomy. The initial visit was on time, we had plenty of time to talk and discuss my questions and concerns. Dr. Super answered my questions thoroughly and with kindness and compassion. Testing was performed right away and results were given to me in a very timely fashion. After my visit, he was available for questions and responded quickly through the MyMercy portal. My surgery was last week - Dr. Super explained everything to my husband and I pre-operatively and also to my family post-operatively. He and the nursing staff took great care of me after surgery and I am doing incredibly well thanks to their gracious and skillful care. Thank you to everyone for taking such wonderful care of me!

He is very friendly and explains things very well. At the beginning of my pregnancy he was wonderful. However, after I was about half way through the pregnancy he started to act funny in the way he was managing my care. All of a sudden he was micromanaging my pregnancy and even tried to refer me to a gestational diabetes specialist even though I had passed my glucose test. I was uncomfortable with the specialist he referred me to and he refused to refer me to anybody else. On a subsequent visit with one of Dr Supers partners we were going over my birth plan and addressing concerns I had regarding being unnecessarily induced and I was told that my feelings were "small potatoes" and that they would be making sure I did not go past my due date no matter what. I still had several months of pregnancy left to go and I'm not sure why he acted this way but it made me nervous and so I found another doctor who was amazing and completed my prenatal care without any issues and delivered my… perfectly healthy daughter three days after my due date with no issues.

One of the best doctors I've ever seen

Dr Super is my favorite doctor that I interact with. He is just a very nice and easygoing doctor to see. He is very knowledgeable and always makes me feel at ease.

Dr Super put us at ease when we were unable to achieve pregnancy. His amazing bed side manner and optimistic attitude helped us conceive and deliver our son, being our first pregnancy he help ease our fears of labor and delivery.

Dr. Super is the nicest, most caring doctor I've ever had. I've been a patient for over ten years and he always takes his time to answer all your questions, genuinely cares about your concerns and will go out of his way to help you (i.e. referals to other great doctors, doing extra work to get you answers, etc). Great doctor!!!

I was referred to Dr Super in my late teens when I had an abnormal PAP because he was more specialized to handle the situation. I've never left. I've never been one to be excited about annual visits but I know his staff is well versed, quick and reliable. Dr Super is fast, accurate and takes the time to talk to me about any concerns or needs I have (but fast enough for me to have an at lunch visit and not be late getting back!). Dr Super is the best, I can't even begin to think of anywhere I would rather go. I highly recommend Dr Super, his staff and the other Dr's in this practice. The facility is equipped to handle what many smaller practices cannot, but still have the personal touch and feel.
