Dr. David Paul Tojo, MD

Dr Tojo and his staff are wonderful. He takes his time listening and explains everything thoroughly, you never feel rushed. I had Parathyroid surgery and felt very confident in his ability. My son is also his patient and had successful surgery. I would highly recommend Dr Tojo and his office.

You honestly expect me to pay your outrageous balance of $165, when you and Lutheran General Hospital have already robbed me and medicare (funded by all of us taxpayers) of thousands of dollars in unneeded and unjustified charges for a simple thing like simply looking in my ear and removing the small particle blocking my eardrum!? I came to you complaining of feeling my ear was plugged for several months, and that I couldn't hear completely, from it. You charged me $227 just to walk in the door and $105 to irrigate (clean out?) the ear. Then you had your audiologist test my hearing and advised me to have an MRI performed at medicare's expense, to make sure there wasn't any tumor causing the problem. None of these actions did anything to improve or solve the problem, and none of them would have been necessary, if you'd only just taken a look inside the ear! Now, after continuing to live with the problem, several more months, I go to the Ukraine to visit family and friends and save… thousands of dollars on dental work I need, because having it done here would've cost 2-3 times what I paid there! So ... while in the Ukraine I also went into a walk-in clinic, without any waiting or appt., and go right in and see an ear, nose, and throat specialist. This doctor looked into both my nostrils, my ears, and my throat. She did the same for my wife, who was with me. She then stuck an instrument into my plugged ear and rubbed it around, and pulled out and showed me some earwax. She then took a little closer look and stuck another instrument into my ear and pulled out a small particle, and showed me! This examination for both my wife and I took all of about 15 minutes and we were charged $15 total! Ever since then my plugged hearing has been resolved! And I no longer feel the sense that hearing is muffled from that ear anymore! So, what with this doctor, simply doing her/your job of looking in my ear for the problem; seeing it; and taking care of it; why couldn't you do that? Because you are not in the business of helping people - just making money! And not only taking it from me, the patient, but also from the govt. (the taxpayers), because they've got plenty of money to spend on their insurance and in their tax payments! Right? After all, when you take the millions of dollars taxpayers put into the medicare system ... who's gonna miss a few thousand, here or there? So, learning how this real nose, throat, and ear specialist, solved my problem, by simply looking in my ear and removing what was plugging it ... do you still expect me to pay the almost $165 balance you say I owe, when medicare and my insurance, has already paid almost $250 of your bill, along with several thousand more for the MRI bill, and the other doctor solved the problem in 7.5 minutes for $15?

Dr. Tojo treated my son for a sinus infection that started as a cold, moved to bronchitis, then pneumonia. The pediatrician put him on an antibiotic and he kept getting worse. When we went to see Dr. Tojo, my son was better within a couple of days. The level of care was exceptional, he works well with children and adults, and I would highly recommend! He really takes the time to make sure you understand!

The doctor and the staff were all nice and professional. I was seen with in the first 5 minutes of showing up. I got quality care and review of my concerns with this doctor.

Dr. Tojo performed surgery on my throat. I did not have any post-surgery problems, doctor followed-up with results after a few days. everything was explained to me. Office staff is very good and accurate with paperwork, FMLA, etc. It was a very good experience for a scared patient.

Dr. Melanie Ludolph was professional, knowledgeable and comforting during the testing she did on my ears. Dr. David Tojo easily diagnosed my problem and proscribed a smart course of treatment. His ability to communicate and the extra time he took with me, explaining what had happened was really appreciated. The compassion he demonstrates is icing on the cake of his intelligence, expertise, and medical experience. I knew immediately I was in good hands and recommend him highly.

Great doctor. Had thyroid biopsy in office and did not need surgery!

It has now been about 6 years since the procedure. I previously had a deviated septum due to a few sports related injuries. I had some moderate breathing issues, but my main concern was cosmetic. Only the bridge of my nose was deformed. The bridge was smashed flat, symmetrically square and bumpy on the sides while being slightly concave in the the middle. A month after the procedure I was upset with the results but was reassured things would only get better as the swelling subsides. Then I was told I could only judge the results after a year of healing which I thought was reasonable. A year later I came back with the same complaints and was told that they were so minimal that I shouldn't seek revision. Throughout the following months I asked those I trusted if they could see what I saw, and they also noticed the mess ups. There has been no difference in my breathing. If anything my breathing is worse. Cosmetically the lower left side of my bridge has a little ball like… lump followed by a 1/4 inch indent. The right side of the bridge is just as pointy as before but concentrated higher up. The hollow gap effect in the middle is slightly narrower but still nowhere near ideal. Basically the results are bumpy and asymmetrical. I have had some consultations for a revision rhinoplasty and was actually told that I still have a deviated septum. Overall I'm extremely disappointed with Dr. Tojo.

Dr. David Tojo gave me the horrible drug like Levaquin with steroids for sinus infection. The drug left me disabled. The doctor ruined my life. this drug is prescribed for anthrax and never with steroids.
