He completed his internship, as well as his residency, at the University of Michigan Hospital, also in Ann Arbor. Dr. Waters then completed his fellowship at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Md. He is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. Dr. Waters is the senior partner of Neurosurgical Specialists, where he has been in private practice since 1986 and treats patients for diseases of the spine, brain and nerves.

Best doctor ever. I have never had a doctor so good at what he does and so compassionate. He follows you all the way through and never gives up on you.

Dr. Waters is a very caring person. Takes time to listen. You do not feel rushed during your appointment. He makes you feel very comfortable. Took the time to call me at home. He cares about you as a total person not just a symptom. Will take time to explain your situation and the surgery he recommends. He saw me frequently during my recovery in the hospital and has been my guiding light encouraging patience during this lengthy recovery. He is the Best..

Dr. Waters is very compassionate, spends necessary amount of time with you. Explains things clearly and is straight forward. He's conservative with his treatment, but is ready to move forward when necessary and in an appropriate time frame for the best care and results possible to his patients.

Explains everything in details and will review all options before doing any type of procedure and will not do any unnecessary procedure without making sure that it is the proper one for your care. Excellent bedside manner.

He accurately diagnosed my condition where others (chiro - ortho - gen pract) could not thus saving me from potentially un necessary surgery - rehab and discomfort. highly recommmended for any spine/head issues.
