Dr. David Ray Williams, MD

Dr. Williams was my doctor for over 20 years. Always treated me with respect and knew exactly how to treat my ills. I didn't know he had moved from Belton until today, I will miss being able to drive to his office. I do not know my way around Lees summit or Independence.

Made an appt. to address some issues I was having with pain. When making appt. receptionist told me I hadn’t had a physical in 2020 so I needed one. She then said we can do all of what needed to be done in one appt. Did my fasting for the night, got to my appt. and In to the doc and he asked me what I needed done today and I told him. He said that he didn’t have time to do everything and that I needed to get my priorities straight and I told him since he is the doc and he just gave me a thumbs up. That’s super professional!?? Oh when I checked in they also saw that I was having major allergy issues and shortness of breath but it’s always in your mind...do I have COVID? So I asked, being a truck driver and constantly around people “Do you do COVID test basically for peace of mind?” He went on to ask me if I was exhibiting any symptoms and I was but also mind you I was having allergy issues and those symptoms are the same as COVID symptoms and I have asthma. Instead of talking thru it… like an adult, he slammed his computer shut, got up, walked out the door and slammed it. No explanation of what’s going on. Next thing I know there is his MA with a bio suit on swabbing my nose and then escorted me out the side door of the building. Again no explanations. I waited 2 months to see the doc for my pain issues. I am a truck driver so I am only in town for a couple days at a time and 3-5weeks in between so I have to keep dealing with this pain, I got treated as if I was a disease and inhumane & his unprofessionalism. This wasn’t the first time he has treated me like this but I have him another chance. Everyone has bad days but this was the last straw and I would not recommend him to ANYONE not even my worse enemies. Everyone deserves to be cared for and he isn’t it. He is just concerned abt how many visits he can get out of you for your problems!! NEXT!!!

I have been in Kc 23 years and been with Doctor Williams for 20 he's very knowledgeable and he truly cares I know have my whole family under his care. Thanks Doctor Williams for all you do for my family and I.

Helped keep me going through cancer, one of the best /nicest people I have ever known

This was my first visit to Dr Williams. I was seen the same day I called as my pcp was out of town. Dr Williams was very to the point and knew exactly was my condition entailed. He was knowledgeable about my health care provider and actually came of with a treatment plan that day. He seemed to genuinely care about my health actually made me feel like I should care more about myself. I really appreciate d that and want to switch to him as my pcp. I would recommend Dr Williams to anyone.

Very impressed with Dr. Williams. I have already recommended him to friends. Ease of appointment was great and hardly any waiting to see the doctor.

I wouldn't want to go anywhere else. I could go on and on, but that's the bottom line. I know he cares and he always listens.

Dr. Williams is kind, professional and not apposed to humor. Very important to me. He also sees my 85 year old mother. Part of our family I would say!
