Dr. David Yam once practiced medicine here in Walla Walla, WA. He performed 2 surgeries on me; a lumbar fusion, with placement of metal on 3- 5-2012, damaging the nerve in my back & causing me ongoing pain that I'll have to live with the rest of my life. It deprived me of my passion for dancing. He also performed cervical surgery 3-6-2013 was fine.

I am extremely pleased with Dr Yam and his staff and associates. I was informed of all procedures and choices before and during my surgery. The protacols in place in his offices and the hospital were all worth doing. NO infection at all. I am up walking right away. I have sent my friends and neighbors to him. So very glad I waited for Dr Yam. He has changed my adult life with his inovative procedures.

He has been my primary care physician for several years now and has always provided the absolute best care, and I believe, best advice and treatment during every visit and for every issue. Had initial appt rescheduled a couple times which was frustrating, but once I got in and was diagnosed, appts and surgery were promptly scheduled. Surgery was a life-changer for me thanks to Dr. Yam.

I was very impressed with Dr. Yam's great interpersonal interactions with not only me, but my wife as well. He came in and introduced himself asked me about my medical issues, conducted a series of simple tests, then went through the X-rays and pointed out the areas of concern and thoroughly explained what needed to be done to correct my issues. He put us right at ease by explaining his level of expertise with the T-LIF procedure. He came to us highly recommended and we could see why.
