Dr. Wael Yacoub Musleh, MD

Prior to my surgery, I had daily pain in both legs. Since the surgery till now, 6 weeks later, I have been pain free. Dr. Musleh and his staff did an amazing job.

Initial meeting was thorough and professional Just shake the man's hand and you feel trusting.

Dr. Musleh did a laminoforaminotomy on my cervical spine and after years of pain I now feel no more pain in that area, Dr. Musleh is a excellent surgeon and I would highly recommend him to anyone needing a spine surgery.

The first time I met him he was almost rude about my options he said I could have surgery or live with pain the rest of my life and he very bluntly and rudely shockingly told me that I could die I was already quite nervous and in a lot of pain I don't feel he went about that very well after the surgery nothing with explain to me at all they just said move around alot as my back did not heal my butt began to hurt really bad when I informed him of this he acted like I didn't say anything it's like the pink elephant in the room that we can't talk about every time I bring it up he says I don't know we could have exploratory surgery this was after the fact that he told me I should never have back surgery again it took him six months to get me to see a pain management clinic he never wants to talk to me he always seems burnt out and in a rush I believe it's because I am of low-income I find this atrocious he is a doctor who took an oath and I am a person and he made an oath and promised that… he would try to help people suffering I do not like that I was not informed of something that could be life or death for me I would like to know everything I do not like being trapped in a Paint Body and not even knowing how to operate it I will be looking for a second opinion also after the surgery I started having pains in my shoulder when I told him about this he said I don't know what to tell you you need to see a shoulder specialist he couldn't even inform me of what could have possibly went wrong the surgery was a disaster and now I'm even worse off I really wish she just could have listened to me and I really wish he could have explained stuff more but like I said he did not listen and he was very rush rush he was just in a hurry to get me out of there very sad please look for another doctor I am warning you unless you have tons of money then I don't know maybe he'll treat you well but do you want to see a doctor who doesn't treat his patients fairly I know I wouldn't.

I have not yet had my surgery but I have to comment after reading the other reviews here. I was so impressed with how much time Dr. Musleh spent with my husband and me when I met with him. We had all sorts of questions and he patiently answered all of them. I also appreciate that he wanted to start with a more conservative approach (a discectomy) and only suggested a fusion after he was clear a discectomy wouldn't suffice. He was funny, easy to talk to. And every professional I talk to about him (other doctors, physical therapist, chiropractor) has great things to say. It takes a while to get in to see him and my surgery was scheduled months out. But that's because he is good at what he does and a lot of people want his services. I've had two appointments cancelled because he was called into emergency surgery. But I'd rather have to wait and have someone that's known for being really good then get into someone quickly because no one wants to see them.

Dr. Musleh did not waste his time or mine. I went in after an MRI showed the reason for the severe pain radiating down my left side. He gave his recommendation and told me to take my time deciding and to get a 2nd opinion if I wanted one. His staff was very kind and got back to me quickly on all my questions from insurance, to scheduling, to my health concerns. When I had an allergic reaction to the adhesive tape after surgery, I got an appointment the same day I called to see his nurse. When he saw me in the hall he waved and asked how I was. He has been friendly at each visit and in and out of the hospital. I am glad I had Dr. Musleh to operate on me. He is lucky to have such a wonderful support staff.

He is the worst Dr. I have ever seen and I would recommend you find someone else. Surgery outcome was poor, interactions with this doctor were even worse. He has no interest in helping patients. He was rude to my family after my surgery. I have never experienced such a poor experience with a medical provider.

I saw Dr. Musleh for some low back pain i was experiencing. Although i had to wait a bit in the office for my appointment i found Dr. Musleh to be genuine and forthright with me about my options. I can't understand the other ratings here because my experience was very satisfactory.

Getting the referral from the PC doctor was easy. Setting up appt. was easy. Getting to see Dr. Musleh was easy. Scheduling the surgery was easy. The surgery was messed up! Surgery set for 10:30 AM, was at hospital early, had prep, waited until 5:30 PM to get operated on. Dr. had ER surgery, mine was pushed back. He was very tired, commented on it to staff, he did surgery anyway and now am not able to fully use my arm! He lacks of caring and concern for my condition, and getting follow-up appointments are hard to get. He has washed his hands of me. I went in for pain in neck, came out with limited use of arm. He sucks! Beware of this doctor.

He didn't listen to me when I was discussing my issues with him. He is more about getting me back to work than working through my care. I was with him through L&I, he wouldn't listen about a lump behind my leg, even though it was there with my back. I got back surgery, it went away, then came back. He wouldn't look at it, instead he said you can go back to work. I can not even complete normal household chores, but once again, I had no say. Doesn't care about patients, only want's L&I off his back,seems like he has patients come in, pushes them out so he can get paid.
