Dr. Dawn Iris Greenwald, MD

Dr. Greenwald has always been very kind and professional. Her low key demeanor is appreciated by this patient, and my family as she has always been very calming, even when a procedure has been needed. I've had several moles removed over the years and her treatment has been painless, efficient, and you wouldn't even know I ever had a mole in the location it was after a few months have gone by. Follow up has also always been very professional. I consider her a top-rated experienced physician.

I saw Dr Greenwald in the past. Her examination was brief and from across the room. When removing a mole she did not bother to check if the anesthetic shot was effective, just started cutting. When she learned I could feel everything she just continued without hesitation or apology. Her medical assistant was a much more professional and caring person.

I had a terrible experience with a "cyst" removal. After dr greenwald stated she take ambien and needs a monster energy drink to wake up, she cut into me, dropped the needle twice and should never have stitched up a cyst. as she was cutting into me she said this is not a cyst and continued to cut and hurt me. she said it was bone cancer and she could not get it all and referred me to an oncologist. I had to have a second biopsy preformed, by a specialist to fix the hole she left in my forehead. After several test it turned out to be nothing. I think the doctor need to retire

Dr. Greenwald was able to quickly clean up my acne. She was nice and easy to talk to.

She was a horror and I saw her 10+ years ago. Wimpy hand-shake, cursory glance and "what can I do for you" upon entering the room after having melanoma removed on my stomach by a plastic surgeon she recomended. What you can do for me, Dawn, is move back to NYC where they're used to lousy service like yours. Thank God I have a new M.D. who knows what he's doing.

I felt this dr was very abrupt. Told me what the rash I had was from about 4 feet away. Said it could be on other parts of my body. When requested she look she said she didn't need to. She did not send what removed for a biopsy after informing me that had been done. She said her experience made it unnecessary. I was also told I had warts. When finally sought a second opinion outside of this practice I actually had sebacious gland hyperplasia. I only hope this review is helpful to others. I wish I had checked this site earlier based on other reviews indicated.

She is very rude. She comes off as a nice old lady until she decides not to and then she won't be helpful or kind. She will judge you and speak to you with a spiteful tone. Don't see her. She is disrespectful.

She is crazy, in attentive and does not care! I visited her for an acne consultation. I am 29 and have acne like a 14 year old. I wanted to try accurate as I had tried EVERYTHING else. She suggested I have a procedure that would sand my face and bleed a lot and keep me from working for 2 weeks?? What? She said that's all she could offer then became irritated when I said that's not what I wanted. She became nasty toward me. I was in tears when I left. Totally callous, insensitive and probably getting a monetary kickback for referring people to surgery centers.

I had an appointment and waited an hour and still didn't get to see the doctor. The drug rep, however, got to see the doctor right away. Listening to the office staff chatter while I was waiting was no lesson in manners either. I didn't even get an apology from the staff when I said I couldn't wait any longer.

I took my 95 yr old dad to another dermatologist who didn't have a diagnostic clue, then I scheduled with Dr. Greenwald and dad was diagnosed within one minute and treated immediately. We were even shown confirming photos from her medical journal.
