Dr. Dean Nicholas Silas, MD

Dr. Silas is a wonderful doctor! Every time I do see him he always spends time with me and talks through any questions I have or any symptoms that I’m concerned about. The front desk staff is terrible, every time I call it’s anywhere from 10-20 minutes on hold to make an appointment or change one. Or if I received a call from a nurse and am returning that call I either have to leave another voicemail or be put on hold for another 15 minutes. It shouldn’t take this long to book appointments and or get someone on the phone. The office should really get a better office manager and kick things in gear.

Dr. Silas is an excellent doctor.

I have been going to Dr. Silas for over 10 years. He is highly experienced and compassionate and takes the time to answer all your questions. He does not do anything that is not necessary and refers you if needed.

As a physician who has his family members see Dr. Silas, I would recommend him without reservations.

I thought reading reviews Dr Silas would be a good doctor. he was not. He and his staff were just some of the worst I have ever heard about. First problem, i was scheduled for a procedure a week after my first visit and given instructions for the prep. Almost daily we received calls from the Dr or his nurse and each time during the phone calls the prep procedure changed, it left us very confused. Worst time was when I arrived at the hospital. My condition is very conditional and Dr Silas had my scheduled for the first procedure of the morning. Still confused but desperate for any help, I arrived at the hospital. It turned out yet another lie by Silas the snake in that my procedure was going to be a hour late even though I was on time and the first scheduled because he put some last minute patients ahead of me. He never even came to see me or explain. Finally even in severe pain a nurse came and informed me that he would not be doing my procedure. After repeatedly calling his office for… a explanation and always getting the voicemail of his nurse I received a extremely rude letter in the mail basically informing me i was being dropped as a patient. if you want a good doctor who pays attention, gives you quality care and respect go to a different one. If your looking for one that ignores you, can't communicate, treats you like dirt and has no compassion then go see dean silas

Put of having the test. But, Dr. Silas took the fear out. I'd do it again.

I have known this doctor for more than a decade and is highly impressed by his professionalism ,expertise and compassion. He brings so much ease and assurance to the patients.
