Cut all flexor tendons in my pinky and ring finger, was unable to move them at all I went in to see him at 3 weeks after the injury the recommended time from what I’ve read to get the surgery is 1 to 2 weeks latest to fix them, he seen me for the first time and knew exactly what was wrong and did surgery the next morning to save my fingers and it was a success. I would highly recommend.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Dean for 23 years and would NEVER go to anyone else! I had rotator cuff surgery and it was BOTCHED??Dr Dean did a complete revision 1.5 years later and it’s been great since…over 20 years!

Dr. Dean did an excellent job on my rotator cuff surgery. He explained how he was going to do the surgery in understandable terms.

I have had at least 7 orthopedic doctors over the years & Dr. Dean is THE BEST! He listens to you, takes his time, draws pictures & explains everything to you. He treats you as an equal. He is brilliant. PLUS he has a sense of humor! Couldn't find a better doctor ANYWHERE!!! He's AWESOME!!!

Dr Dean and his office are absolutely phenomenal. The staff is very professional and Dr Dean really takes the time to explain everything to you. He and his staff are very empathetic and knowledgeable. I would recommend Dr. Dean and his staff a million times over again. Thank you!!!!

I was told post-OP that no way is this shoulder coming apart again. well within a couple of months this shoulder was half apart and he acted as though it was still healing. I have now been left with 30% usage of my arm. the next step is shoulder replacement and it wont be done by him. he lies to your face, "look how good she is doing" when clearly the MRI showed everything falling apart.

I had my 16 year old daughter to his office today and Dr. Sotereanos as well as Dr. Dimitri spent less than 2 minutes with my daughter and myself. She was referred there by a local dr who has been treating her. When asked if the x-rays from our local hospital were looked at, their answer was YES. HOWEVER, no x-rays were sent from my daughter's local dr nor the hospital. I did not sign release of her xrays, so not sure how her x-rays were looked at. Also neither of these doctors took the time to listen to her symptoms just gave her a shot without having taken x-rays of their own, which I was told when making the appointment would be done if I was unable to bring hers with us. When I called their office to question how this was possible they looked at her xrays (which they did not have nor taken), their comment was "oh we didn't need to take any, we already looked at them." I will not ever return to his office nor recommend anyone see him. The whole entire staff other than the check-in… girl talked to me like I didn't know what I was talking about.

Dr Sotereanos is a really good surgeon but his office needs some serious help. There is absolutely nobody to get ahold of post op if you are having any problems. The health portal is a joke because the PA's wont answer you back for days & weeks! If you are having a serious issue post up like extreme pain, an infection or in my case extreme pain from a nerve block that was done incorrectly . There is no way whatsoever to reach them. The on call doc is as sweet as can be but he is only over the phone w/ you for a quick assessment. He doesn't have your records in front of him so the best he can do is refer you to your local ER. Dr Sotereanos office has no nurses station at all to call. Your correspondence is only through the health portal which the PA's do not answer in any reasonable time frame & usually they don't answer back at all. If you say you're having crushing chest pain one of them will reach out. Forget about all other questions, concerns, infections, prescriptions extreme… pain, etc etc not happening. I usually go to John John Hopkins so I know my bar is high but c'mon, this is really basic post op aftercare I'm talking about here.

Dr. Sotereanos is the kindest and most concerned dr I have ever seen. He tried many things to fix my wrist, but ultimately fused it. He is an everyday hero!
