Dr. Deanna Elma Hughes, PhD

Dr. Hughes has been a huge help in my life. Every session I walk away feeling better, even if I just vented about nonsense for an hour! She has a delightfully laid back spirit and meeting with her is extremely casual, like meeting with a friend. I have experienced a lot of positive transformation in my life over the last year & a half & I know so much of that couldn’t have happened without her gentle guidance & listening ear!

I have been seeing Dr. Hughes for a number of years. She takes time to get to know you, and figure out what type of communication style you will most likely respond to. Her suggestions reflect her professional training , experience, and most importantly, true compassion.

Great help in navigating through life transition.

I have been incredibly lucky to have me this amazing woman. I met her and began seeing her a year and a half ago. I can’t believe how much better I feel each and every time I have a session with her. She always lifts my spirits and makes such good suggestions to me. She never belittles me or makes me feel awkward for anything I tell her. In a nutshell, she is has so much class and is kind and just THE BEST!!!!I feel extremely lucky that I found her. I don’t care who you are, everyone at some point in their life needs someone to talk to when you have a problem of any kind or just a heavy heart. Finding the “right” person to talk to can make all dthe difference for you, I highly recommend this lovely lady. She is down to earth and you will be happy you found her. I couldn’t be more satisfied.

Needs to work on methodology for treatment. Not certain she was able to help with the problem she was seeing me for.
