Dr. Deborah Bott Mcbane, DO

I have been a long time patient of Dr. McBane's and have followed her as she switched practices. She is very kind, thorough, and supportive,

I was so disappointed with a visit to this doctor after she took over for my internist who left the practice. She was cold and very uncaring. She wouldn't renew prescriptions, didn't take my history into consideration and was of no help to me at all. I felt stranded at a time when I needed to find a doctor. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone.

For my new patient consult I was greeted by the front desk (pleasant), walked to an exam room by a med tech (pleasant) had my vitals taken abd blood drawn ($)—no explaination, then sent for a urine sample($), brought back to the exam room and told to strip except for my underwear at which time the tech, who never ince washed her hands, performed an ekg($) My first interaction of my life with Dr. McBane occurred while i was barely clothed. She did not address me by name. Her review of history felt more like an interrogation: She was dismissive, rude and never once asked me how i felt. She performed a breast exam ($), offerred a rectal exam($) which I declined. Upon leaving the exam she brought an rx to the front desk and muttered something like “well, she’s under the impression you have her pharmacy info...”. I hadn’t yet finished my paper work. That’s how she does a new pt consult on a healthy 50y/o?? Really?? Dr. McBanes technique, personality, ethics and attitude are… disturbing. I have been a health care professional fir 30 yrs; she is an embarrassment to her profession.

Because of insurance changes I had to choose a new doctor. I was absolutely stunned at how curt, dismissive, arrogant and snarky Dr. McBane acted. Furthermore her med tech DID NOT WASH HER HANDS in my presence before or after touching me. Front desk staff was uninformative stating they “could not possibly keep track of all the insurance plans out there” but would submit the bill “and hope for the best”. “Doctor” McBane has no business practicing medicine and I expect her newly purchased practice will not survive long

I went to see Dr. McBane today as she took over the practice of my previous doctor. She would not refill my prescription unless I came in for a visit. I waited over an hour to be seen and when she came in she was very abrupt, condescending and questioned why I was taking the meds I was taking. She was so nasty and made me feel like she was doing me a favor by refilling my prescription.

Dr. McBane recently took over an existing practice. I had my first appointment with her as I have been a patient at this particular practice for several years. Simply put, I will be moving on. She was abrupt, rude, dismissive and arrogant. She took no initiative to understand my perspective or history and came into the room with a preconceived agenda. She made me feel defensive and uncomfortable. An overall horrible experience and I see this practice suffering under her leadership.

Just plain mean...how she is a dr I have no idea all these negative reviews are 100% true.

My daughter has autism and dr mcbane would not fill out her medical for camp. She spoke very negative in front of my daughter.

Dr. McBane was a wonderful doctor. She addressed all my needs and sent me for all the tests I needed. She was kind and respectful and I will recommend her to anyone looking for a primary care physician.

I have never been treated so disrespectfully by a doctor. I am amazed this doctor maintains a practice. She treated me with disdain. She was rude, condescending, and abrupt, did not listen, did not address my questions, did not let me finish speaking (even while thanking her) and treated me as if I were a badly behaved toddler and she was an abusive parent.
