My previous doctor at this practice retired, so I regretfully began seeing Dr Patel. This was only my second visit, but I will NOT be back to see him. I have been dealing with a medical condition for 2 years now and it’s been a roller coaster. My previous doctor looked into other treatment options, other specialists if needed, medications to truly alleviate symptoms , etc. Dr. Patel?? He treated me like a number, rushed the visit, was annoyed at the work forms he needed to fill out and refused to give me an appropriate doctors note. I was shocked- he has my whole file in front of him explaining everything I’d been through the past 2 years and felt his own personal opinion superseded any actual medicaI care or paperwork I needed. I’m so disappointed as I’ve never had this experience in the over 13 years I’ve been with the office. What Dr. Patel lacks in height, he makes up for in ego. I truly feel that if I was a man seeking his help, he would have been much more invested.
