This Dr is bad news; uncaring, argumentative, almost no real medical service rendered in my physical, had to struggle to get the pertinent lab tests ordered, avoid this person

If you’re looking for a doctor who cares, I would not recommend Dr. Lekewa. She has no listening skills, is always in a rush, arrogant, rude and provides mis-diagnoses. When I went to see her due to shoulder pain, stated it was due to my knitting. However, I was in so much pain, I had to go to the emergency room which reveled a torn rotator cuff. And, if that wasn’t enough, I was once 10 minutes late for an appointment and when I arrived, was told she left because I was late…and to think a doctor wouldn’t understand about being late for an appointment!

She told me she didn’t have a magic wand to make me feel better. I have never felt so humiliated before. She should not be in the medical profession if she has no empathy.

This Dr. is Excellent

I am medical profession and see lots of docs. She was probably one of the worst I have seen...arrogant, did not listen, did not share diagnosis, no bedside manner and completely ignored family member who was there

Think twice before yu tell her something confidential, especially if your family or friends go to her. She tends to be a bit loose lipped and shares TMI about others. Will she do that to me too? I switched doctors because of this.

I personally like Dr Lekawa, she doesn't beat around the bush, is very understanding and courteous, and tells it like it is. She may not have the sugary exterior of some Doctors, but I prefer to have a Doctor that's a straight shooter - she's very knowledgable, confident, and efficient - I would highly recommend her!
