Dr. Deepthi Yelavarthi, DO

Dr. Yelavarthi discharged me only one day after severe anaphylaxis, severe gasteroenteritis, high fever, and still waiting for blood culture results, despite telling her how bad I felt. Six hours after discharge, Suburban called back to tell me a blood culture was positive, I had sepsis, and return to get IV antibiotics. I had another FOURTEEN hour wait in the ER before being readmitted. AVOID this doctor!

she is very poor - emailed her regarding my mother and what kind of care would she get moving forward - no response. If she doesn't want to be a doctor - go do something else!!!!!!!!!!!

This doctor may have credentials, but she has zero social skills and does not have any ability to mesh with the patient. She lacks empathy and has a very poor bedside manner. Confirmed by some of the nurses on the floor as well. Would not recommend.
