Delaney Katherine Dowd, MD

Dr. Delaney Dowd specializes in neurology and pediatrics, bringing eight years of experience to her care of young patients with neurological conditions. She earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and completed her residency at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in 2023. Dr. Dowd furthered her training with a fellowship at Ann & Robert Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago, completing the program in 2024. She is fluent in both English and Spanish.

Dr. Dowd practices at Children's Medical Center Plano and sees patients at locations in Dallas and Plano, Texas. She treats children with epilepsy and altered levels of consciousness, along with sensory processing disorders. Her clinical expertise includes providing acute treatment and secondary prevention for pediatric stroke patients. She also performs specialized neurological examinations for adolescents and administers botulinum toxin injections when medically appropriate.
