Horrible unable to get medicine as a diabetic!

She was very easy to talk to & explained everything I needed to know.

Dr. Stefan has made a tremendous difference in my life. She has helped me to lose weight, get my diabetes under control, and improve my general health. She has helped me to lower the the medications I was taking but see significant results at the same time.

Dr. Stefan saved my life by correctly diagnosing my thyroid cancer & insisting on having my surgery performed by a surgeon who met her high standards. She is very compassionate, meticulous in making a diagnosis, & takes great care & interest in her patients well being.

Dr. Stefan is an excellent doctor and a credit to her field of endocrinology. She has an excellent bedside manner and a very caring attitude. She is treating me post thyroid surgery. Having had my cancerous thyroid removed. I don't know what the other reviewers are talking about her not returning calls. She even called me while I was on vacation to address my concerns over medication and has personally returned everyone of my six calls to her since she began caring for me. I would highly recommend her to anyone in need of an endocrinologist.

Dr. Stefan is rude and judgmental. She knew I was traveling over an hour to see her and continually ridiculed me for not being able to see her every four weeks, even after I explained I had just started a new job and couldn't take time off yet. Of course, she doesn't have weekend or late hours, and when I took the last appointment of the day she had the nurse call to say she was no longer working until 5. She told me I "probably" had a thyroid tumor and that I needed to have an ultrasound immediately, but failed to mention that she was taking a two week vacation the next day and wouldn't have anyone else read me the results. I would leave a message for her and wouldn't receive a call back for 3-4 days.

During my last visit Dr. Stefan actually told me she did not have enough time to talk to me. I have had to struggle with her to get better treatment, different or higher doses of medicine. When she finally let me change medicines, she mistakenly prescribed half the proper dose (I had to look up the info source for her staff). I suspect that I am having adrenal problems, but Dr was very reluctant to properly test. One symptom is hypoglycemia after intense exercise, which I told her I get, so she threw me a glucose monitor and went out the door to her next patient...
