Dr. Denise Ellen Bruner, MD

Dr. Bruner is very personable and took a great deal of time with me. I was surprised when making the appointment the nurse told me to allow 2 hours. The doctor spent at least an hour just talking with me and getting to know my history. She also did a physical exam. Blood work was done a few weeks earlier, the delay between visits was due to vacation timing. Normally it's just a week later. Dr. Bruner personally went over my plan, discussing and suggesting specific meals. She answered all my questions and told me to call if any came up between visits. The staff reinforced that I should call with questions and also suggested I write a list of questions for my next visit. The weight loss plan is personalized and actually worked the first week! I am losing steadily and look forward to my followup visits. A friend is also seeing her, we compared notes, and while there are some similarities we each have significant differences that I attribute to our individual situations.
