Dr. Dennis Booth

Nurse never returns calls unless you are another doctor. They are just in business for money. Not interested in helping patient at all.

I’ll admit after reading reviews I was nervous about seeing Dr. Booth...once we (my husband and I) got there all worries disappeared. He is very direct and clear which when concerning the health of my family I prefer in a doctor. He extended a great act of kindness toward my husband and I that I am so thankful for...do NOT hesitate with seeing him for your medical needs.

I’ve never met a more impatient person and annoyed person. NEVER speak to him unless spoken to, but he’ll still be annoyed with every word that comes out of your mouth, even if it’s to answer a question that he asked you. Very visibly annoyed. To the point of leaning his head back, eye rolling and walking away simultaneously. I cannot express in this review just how much I WOULD NOT recommend Dr Booth.

My husband saw DR Booth and he was in the room 5 minutes with him. My husband tried to explain why he was there and the doctor told him I will schedule testing. My husband was throwing up for weeks could not eat nor use the bathroom and the doctor scheduled him for a test 4 weeks out. Tried to ask questions about what to do in the mean time and the doctor told him that he would not discuss until after the test. So then he told him to sit in a hallway and his nurse would finish the visit. The doctor never spoke to me nor my husband and did not let us ask one question or even look at him. He could not tell you what my husband looked like very rude impatient and non caring. Do not use go to a doctor that at least listens to you even if they can’t fix it at least here my symptoms and such. Only getting one star because I have to.

i have seen Dr. Booth a few times and I feel that he is not caring. He seems to be impatient and will not discuss results with you as a patient. My last test results were discussed with my husband and he never followed up with me. I feel that he is lacking the bedside manner that I would like to see in a doctor. I am no longer a patient of his.

Dr. Booth does not have any bedside manner. He acts like he wants to see you just to make money, he does not care to get to the root of your problem.

I gave Dr. Booth a second chance when he had misdiagnosed my mother 6 years ago, who 2 months after his last visit was diagnosed with colon rectal cancer. I can't eat without getting sick and he still cannot find a problem. He doesn't know what test he has ordered, what doctor he has sent you to, you as the patient have to tell him what is wrong. I was told I had a mass on my ovary and I did not. I have missed tons of work for no answers. It is by the grace of the Good Lord above that my obgyn found me another group of doctors. I realize it was my fault to give him a second chance, I was just hoping he would find something. It is worth the drive to be at a different hospital than to deal with this. Please don't waste your time and money.

Dr. Booth is a great Dr. We travel from Mandeville to Hammond to see him.

Dr. Booth seems very uncaring. He has no bedside manner at all. Refused to prescribe meds when my child had been violently ill for months. Ran 1 test and when that didn't pinpoint the problem he treated us like we were making a big deal out of nothing. Will never darken his door again.

Dr. Booth is rude and impatient. Acts like you are bothering him because you are there. Entire staff was rude. Day I went with my daughter who was sick and needed to use the bathroom, someone was already occuping the bathroom for 30 minutes. My daughter was patiently waiting to use the bathroom. Then another elderly woman came in and looked very sick and needed to use the bathroom very badly but it was still occupied by the same lady. She asked the front desk that surely there must be another bathroom in the office and if she could use it, and they told her no she would have to wait. I'm suprised she didn't crap on the floor. Hope to never have to go again!
