Dr. Dennis Murphy, MD

Was referred to this doctor from my primary. Extremely rushed. Absolutely nobody in the waiting room they rushed me back there before I even had a quarter of the first page filled out on my questionnaire. But that doesn't matter because this doctor had his opinion before I walked into the room. Doctor would ask you a question but did not want a detailed explanation and would cut you off just wanting a simple answer. I kid you not my brother and I were filling out paperwork while trying to answer questions from this doctor and one of his nurses all at the same time. I was interrupted so much I never got to tell this doctor that my left leg will lock up completely sometimes while doing mundane chores around the house. He plain and simply does not want to hear it. Then of course he set me up for the run of the mill procedure. First was therapy second possibility would be epidural injections and third would be surgery. Oh yes and a follow-up appointment. Very arrogant shop around

To keep this Short I don’t recommend Dr Murphy to anyone unless you just want to hear him talk NOT YOU??????I try to talk with him & he over talks you ????In my opinion when your having pain issues for almost 5 yrs ; I think the Dr should. Be very caring & listen to every question you as a patient have; He Rushes you all the time & Actually said” I’m having a very very busy day & I don’t have time for not receiving a MRI report from another Dr. ??????Said go get a neck X-ray & He Left The Room Quickly & I never asked any questions about the report he got from a Vascular Surgeon he sent me to who The Dr sent me to concerning my Vascular issues????????????I Will Never Go Back To Him Ever??????????????

We asked for a second opinion on my husbands brain problem while we were there for my husband's back, because what the hospital neurosurgeon told us was different. He gave us a true report after he did an MRI of his brain. Now we know the correct problem and side

My husband did well with two back surgeries. We love Dr Murphy!!!!!!!!! His bed side manner was great! would recommend Dr. Murphy to everyone!!!!!!!!!!

Dr. Murphy is an excellent physician with his patient's well being foremost in his mind. Great support staff and follow up. I would recommend him to anyone.

Would rather talk than listen.

I would not go back again this is a doctor who cant control him self, My wife came with me for support and WOW,he couldn't keep his eyes off of her, I was there for a lower spine evaluation, and some how the conversation turned to GYN stuff? my wife was embarrassed and i was ready to ask him if he would like me to leave the room for a few minutes? but of course i didn't, I stayed the course and left after the visit! My wife says to me if I ever need a Spine DR. do not bring me to him, he gives me the creeps, HE MADE HER/AND ME FEEL THAT UNCOMFORTABLE !! TERRIBLE BEDSIDE MANNER.

Talk about being misdiagnosed, terrible, terrible doctor.
