Dr. Derek Paul Axibal, MD

Dr Axibal preformed 1 acl reconstruction/meniscus repair and 8 weeks later he repaired my rotator cuff. Both surgeries went without incident and to my surprise, the extensive rotator cuff repair was virtually painless post surgery. Dr Axibal is a kind person and everyone at his practice has the same attitude of compassionate care. He took time to explain my options and listened to my concerns. Dr Axibal is the second Orthopedic Surgeon I've been treated by and I would gladly return if the occasion warrants.

Very thorough, listens completely and addresses concerns. After extra hour intubated, he called and checked on me with phone calls for first 3 days home from surgery.

I think he is probably a good Dr, but spent very little time explaining anything to me. Talked as fast as he could and left. Seemed to be in a hurry.
