Dr. Cote is honestly a highly respected; very meticulous and Detail-oriented surgeon. Dr. Cote completed surgeries for both myself and my oldest son. Dr. Cote is brilliant and really understands the bodies anatomy. He doesn’t rush but rather takes his time ensuring each patient truly receives the best care and treatment during each surgery. After surgery, follow ups are just as professional and explained for patients comprehension. He really is upfront and honest while explaining exactly what you should expect. He explains both best/worst case scenarios that are tailored to you. I really was terrified knowing I was heading to surgery while in the ER room but that changed once I knew my surgeon would be Dr. Cote. Even when I am nervous or unsure; I really do have comfort knowing my surgeon is the best of the best. He definitely has a fine hand and very thorough in surgery making him one of the top surgeons. Super thankful we have him in Dickinson because otherwise I would have to driven… to a large city for treatment. I am very selective with who I see regarding life altering procedures. I just want to add that his team is also very professional and informative. His PA Kelly is just as wonderful and they truly make the best professional team. You are in good hands with Dr. Cote and his team. I hope this helps some of those nervous by giving some peace of mind. Thank You Dr. Cote for being one amazing surgeon; I am beyond appreciative.

I was suffering from knee pain for awhile and was referred to Dr. Cote. At first, I thought I was finally going to get the help I needed, but that's when everything started to go downhill. While upfront he seemed caring and knowledgeable,there was one diagnosis after another that led to more pain and finally surgery which left me unable to bear the pain many months after worse than before. I had another doctor out of Dickinson look at it, and scans show lots of inflammation and abnormal scar tissue buildup, and I was told it was from poor surgical skills causing the ligaments to heal in an offset manner. He further explained that the incision and placement of tools were off causing other areas to be frayed and unable to heal properly. I will most likely be stuck with a cycle of knee pain and a lifetime of surgeries to repair Cote's mistakes.

Highly recommend Dr Cote. I’ve read other reviews and I simply don’t understand the lower star ones. He was friendly and knowledgeable and got me out of pain.

I had a surgery to repair my knee and ever after a proper amount of time and rehab, I'm still in a great amount of pain. I was a little weary before going to Cote based on other people's experiences, but should have listened. He's a second rate doctor and I also had concerns with his demeanor.

Dr. Cote has done 4 surgeries on me in the last 2 years, both hips and both knees. I am extremely pleased with the outcomes of all 4, and the care and follow-up.
