Very thorough and detailed

Dr. McGuire is a kind, caring, listening physician. I highly recommend his practice if you are in need. Through a highly regarded local eye surgeon, I found I had a fast acting cataract in both eyes. I elected to have both of my corrupted natural lens removed. They were replaced with progressive plastic lens. I can see like an eagle. But in two years, I gained a membrane near my Retina on my left eye. I was told that might happen. There was an 18% chance of this happening due to my history. My vision was so blurred it was like a fog. Visiting Dr. McGuire, he advised me of my possible treatments. He always spoke clearly and concisely about the possible work. As it turned out, I had visited my eye surgeon on a regular basis. So, I was able to catch this early. Which means, medication alone healed my problem. I have always had great eyesight so getting old is only for the brave. And this starts a new chapter of no reading glasses and perfect vision. Most people I meet can't believe I see… so well. Last check i was better than 20/20. Thank you doctor for being so kind in answering my questions. Your explanations made the treatment easy. Jim

I visited Dr. McGuire's office with blurred vision in my left eye. He has a great staff that listened to the symptoms completely. The testing equipment did a great job defining my particular problem. Once the pictures were ready to view, the doctor and a vision specialist sat to discuss the results. Mind you, they did this with me present pointing out my deficiencies. I liked how staff was able to pick up problem areas and the doctor was caring, listening, and yet respectfully corrective. This meant that they were working the results using both of their knowledge and experiences. I like a doctor that can listen to others and filter the information properly with staff. I was able to ask questions. The doctor and staff made me feel that my questions were valid. I could see a learning environment that showed a teaching style with kindness. I was calmed by this care and was given the long and the short plans for treatment. This helps to calm me and helps to visualize the road ahead. I… would recommend Dr. D Mcguire and his staff to my closest family. Thank you doctor.

Office staff are very efficient and kind. Never a long wait as appointments are on time. Dr McGuire is very kind, reassuring and good at giving shots in my eye. I thank God for him and his staff.
