Dr. Devin Elizabeth Prior, MD

I had an extremely disturbing and harmful experience with Dr. Devin Elizabeth Prior during my neurology appointment on 01/16/2026. I arrived prepared with two full pages of written symptoms, a detailed timeline of events, and specific tests I wanted to discuss. Despite this, Dr. Prior dismissed my concerns early in the appointment and repeatedly stated that my episodes were nonepileptic without performing any testing to support that conclusion. Throughout the exam, Dr. Prior was demeaning and confrontational. When I was unable to move my foot, she repeatedly questioned why I couldn’t, told me that I could move it despite my inability to do so, and spoke to me in a belittling manner. During motor testing, my leg was moved by her, yet the chart later stated that I was “seen” moving it voluntarily. That is false. The medical record contains multiple inaccuracies, omissions, and assumptions presented as fact. Important information I provided was not included, my physical exam was… misrepresented, and subjective character judgments were added instead of neutral clinical documentation. The report frames conclusions that were decided in advance rather than based on evidence. When I raised concerns about this treatment and explicitly asked a clinic supervisor to document what I reported, I was told that it would be documented. Instead, a follow-up note was entered that failed to record my concerns and reframed the interaction to make it appear as though I was simply demanding unnecessary tests, rather than reporting inaccurate documentation and inappropriate conduct. This experience left me feeling gaslit, disrespected, and unsafe. A neurologist should not make assumptions, misrepresent an exam, or dismiss a patient without evidence. Based on what occurred, I believe Dr. Prior should not be practicing medicine without significant oversight, and this encounter should be reviewed in full.

I had a leg injury and I had it aced wrapped and crutches and I had came in for neurologist visit and she had proceeded to ignore my pain and injury she also was being VERY forceful on wanting to run some physical exams like getting up and walking hitting my kneecap where my injury is! I had to tell her multiple times no I can’t bear weight no I can’t do that and she proceeded to push and push of what she needed to have done NOT understanding my injury that I can’t bare weight she proceeded to ignore it completely I had to have my mom literally repeat my injury and that I can’t do the things she’s asking me to do! Then proceeded to give attitude after. My mom and I both work in the medical field and what she did today was not okay
