Dr. Diana C Medgyesy, MD

I've been seeing Dr. Medgyesy since 2011 when I was diagnosed with Stage III ovarian cancer. I've found her to be very compassionate, thorough, understanding, patient and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend her. and consider myself fortunate to have her for my Oncologist.

Unfortunately I was misdiagnosed twice in this office. The first time I was told everything looked good for a complete recovery. I was called a couple of days later and told after a more complete review it was more complicated and that "We don't all live forever." Next time I got a call and told my DX was "X" and then three days later was called and told that the DX was wrong. I found her to be very "flip" in both encounters. SHe also doesn't like to spend more than the alotted 15 minutes per "customer". I don't have much trust or confidence in this doctor. She does have an outstanding staff though.

I don't have enough words to describe how I feel about this doctor. Dr. Medgyesy is the most empathetic, comforting and caring individual I have ever met. Her skills as a physician are outstanding as well. I had Stage IV breast cancer and this woman saved my life. She gave me courage and the hope I needed to fight this battle. I am blessed to have known such a rare human being who also happens to be a terrific doctor.
