Dr. Diane Leslie Kaufman, MD

Dr. Kaufman has excellent experience, and brought into focus a complex clinical picture when other providers were unsure what to do. She has brought stability for my child with accurate medication recommendations, and has been very patient and flexible with how my teen has been able to participate. Through carefully timed conversations and introduction of information, my child is now in acceptance of their diagnosis and a full participant in their own care.

Dr. Kaufman has always gone above and beyond to connect and ensure that my son's mental health needs are monitored and taken care of. She connects well with her patients and has been key in my son's success in overcoming depression and the difficulties of ADHD.

I’m writing a review as the parent of a teen under Dr Kaufman’s care for about 3 months now. I’ve worked with many medical professionals over the past few years in trying to develop diagnoses and support for my teen. I have been working with Dr Kaufman through some very intense times and found her to be very thorough, engaged, responsive and invested in my child’s care and future. She asks the right questions, brings an awareness and an engagement that has been above the standard in my experience. In addition she brings the arts and supplemental support opportunities into her practice, providing a more complete approach. I am very happy with her care, see progress and the needed support my teen requires and feel my teen is in safe hands under her care. I strongly recommend her to anyone looking for child/adolescent psychiatric help.
