He must have hit a nerve on the last poke, because it jolted me; it was so painful. After that last poke I was out. I woke up in recovery with about 10-20 hospital doctors and hospital staff just staring at me. I was unable to speak and my right eye wouldn't open. They thought I had a stroke. They performed a CT scan, and the scan showed no stroke. Still, they transferred me to another hospital that was supposedly better eqipped to handle stroke victims. I tried telling them I didn't have a stroke, but I couldn't speak and I couldn't move. All I could do was groan. I was at their mercy and very scared. After two CT scans they realized it wasn't a stroke. It was them. I had to stay in… the hospital for about a week. I couldn't chew, or swallow, and I was was bedridden. I had to learn how to walk and talk again. It took me almost a month, with the help of physical therapists, to regain enough strength to walk again. As of the date of this review, my eye lid still sticks and my eye feels tired. The only doctor who came to see me, or showed me any compassion, was my surgeon. The anesthesioligist didn't even come to see me to see how I was feeling. Shame on him.
