Dr. Dileep Kumar Puppala, MD

He is part of the abusmal Houston Pulmonary, Sleep and Allergy Associates group. The problem is the staff, They have too few staff, but they are so incompetent it might be good there are not more of them. I had them tell me a prescription was approved through my insurance. Then after waiting 6 months, and multiple contacts, and still not getting the prescription they FINALLY contact the insurance company and it wasn't approved. A doctor is no better than this staff, and this staff harmed my health and will harm yours and NOBODY WILL CARE because hiring adequate numbers of competent people costs more money then hiring a small number of recent HS graduates. You can't trust the staff, you can't trust the doctors.

My wife and I have used Dr. Puppala for over 10 years. He is a quiet, intelligent, caring doctor with a wonderful staff. We recently had a problem with a CPAP machine and his office staff was wonderful dealing with the equipment supply company to get medicare approval. There are several doctors in the office.

Thanks to Dr. Puppala, I am breathing. If I were still in the area, I would continue seeing him. Both he and Dr. Babu are excellent doctors. They will improve your quality of life

I placed a call to Houston Pulmonology Sleep & Allergy regarding changes in insurance coverage and while the message said I would be contacted within 24 hours I received a call back within minutes of my placed call. My questions were answered professionally and thoroughly. I have been a patient of Dr. Dileep Puppala's for several years now and am very satisfied with the quality of care provided and his office has always been helpful and friendly.

Standard office procedure for Dr. "No Response" Puppala is leave a message, we'll call you. Had questions on whether items were covered by insurance which we were required to pay out-of-pocket at time of service. Referred issue to AETNA insurance who has called several times without response. Do not expect to speak to a person if you have issues. All calls seem to be handled on a "leave a message and we'll call you" basis. Very poor service.

third world service from third world doctors. try calling the office to speak to a human.....it aint gonna happen. And they don't return calls left on voice mail. I have already filed complaints about them to Cigna and Texas Medical Board.

I have been "doctoring" with Dr. Puppala for the past 5 years. His diagnosis and review of my condition has been "spot on"! In addition to his vast knowledge in his field of medicine, his personal character is one that comes with a lot of caring for his patients! The whole office has been awesome, too!
