Dr. Dinea Desouza, MD

Do. DeSouza has cared for my 3- children since their birth. She has always taken the time to listen to them and myself and has never discounted my input as a patent. She follows up and checks when my children have been sick or are his had to hand them off to a specialist. She is personable and professional. I would not hesitate to recommend her.

I have been going to this Pediatrician for as long as I can remember she has watched me grow and has always seemed genuinely attentive to my well-being. I am currently writing this review due to my research into the pediatric field for one of my high school courses, and while reading the reviews I don't believe it does Dr Desouza justice. A great characteristic/ profile Dr Desouza has is that she is a great communicator. Due to her ability of speaking more than one language she is able to communicate with my mom effectively, whom only speaks Spanish. Furthermore I have recently gone to her due to a persistent cough and she was focused on my well being although it was not very serious.

I brought my daughter in to this doctor multiple times over her knee pain. Even though we urged that something seemed wrong in my daughters leg and needed attention for THREE visits, she kept brushing the situation off as not so serious. Turns out my daughter had a severely torn meniscus, which wasn’t properly diagnosed till she couldn’t even walk anymore. The Doctor didn’t even refer us for an x ray when we came in. Don’t recommend this doctor.

Dr DeSouza has been taking care of my children for as long as I can remember - my oldest is 25 and my youngest is 9. She has seen us through a broken arm and a serious case of MRSA that us highly contagious and required surgery on my baby boy. When my kids get sick, I don’t fret because I know we have access to an excellent pediatrician. It’s iur pleasure to have her in our life.
