A lot of people are speaking ill of Dr. Phoncharoensri for reasons that seem to primarily involve insurance. Speaking as someone who was referred to him by my PCP, he has proven to be nothing but kind and understanding, while going out of his way to define the areas of confusion I had with Sleep Apnea. I've just completed my at-home sleep study, and my insurance has fully covered every step of the process. Unfortunately, doctors are, and will always be, forced to acquiesce to insurance providers and shareholders. This is a symptom of our country's focus on economic growth over its people's welfare. Blaming a doctor who has dedicated considerable time to attempting to help people in spite of that is unkind and immature. To any level-headed people reading this; please be aware that I fully endorse his practice. Please sweep aside the racist remarks and unkind, insurance-focused reviews of others on this review site. His staff and office are additionally very kind, and the facilities… and wait-room were kept clean and accessibility-friendly.

During my initial visit with Dr. Dittana C Phoncharoensri, he spent 5 minutes going over how to pronounce his name then left the room and played a video for me on sleep apnea. The video last another 5 minutes and was anything I could have just pulled up on the Internet. That visit was coded as level 4 visit cost me over $300. An utter waiste of time and money. Then I scheduled my sleep overnight. The sleep observation visit has now cost me close to $2,100 and my insurance has denied it fully because of again how he coded. Insurance deemed it not necessary. I have now spent nearly $2,500 to learn nothing and to give it to this crooked doctor. Don't ever go to him.

Will wish I would have know this before I wasted my money on visits. Because nothing has changed. Scents the first review, I will never go back to him again. He likes to call his name with the word Dr. with it.

If he spent more time with his patients than worrying about his name . If you can not help someone say so . Do not continue useless visits. The staff can be very rude n disrespectful

this doctor is good to you when you have insurance but the minute you dont have insuraCE HE STOPS SEEING YOU
