Dr. Dominic Joseph Catrambone JR., MD

I have suffered for years because of his lack of knowledge. He performed surgery on me and something went wrong, he knew it. Weeks later I got a letter stating he was retiring; funny thing was, he didn't. Not fishy at all, right? At one point, one of his staff members was rude to me on the phone for calling for test results - she even hung up on me. I hope you never need any serious procedure done by this incompetent "doctor"

Please be careful. This doctor is hiding so many malpractices that have settled out of court including my own. He lies and fakes his reports to cover his own butt. Please. I have heard of so many issues he’s caused with births and with hysterectomies. He also couldn’t pass his boards. He is a disgusting human being.

He's all about money, makes you keep coming back so he can rack up those office visits

Dr Catrambone is my Dr of choice! I found him after several bad experiences with other doctors. He has been my OBGYN for about 30 years and even with moving out of the area I continue to go to him. Drivng sometimes 2 hours to get to his office is worth the peace of mind that I have always recieved. He has always diagnosed and treated me as an individual and listens attentively. If your looking for a Dr that takes interrest in you, your concerns and is always available and follows up with you then I highly recommend him. His bedside manner is a rare find and his staff is the same way.

I've seen Dr C for 30 years! He's awesome!

Very early in my pregnancy with my son, I'd scheduled my first visit with Dr. C for a Monday. On Saturday evening at 10:30 prior, I began bleeding. We took a chance & called his service; he called right away & directed us to the hospital. Fortunately everything was fine, but not only did Dr. C come to the hospital even having not yet met me, he called me Sunday to check in -- all this before my originally scheduled appointment.I had complications toward the end of my pregnancy, & Dr. C & his staff were always available, caring, doting, & his diagnoses were spot-on.In the hospital two days after an emergency C-section, one of my nurses was so impressed with my incision that she double-checked my doctor.I adore Dr. C and his staff. I even traveled back to Chicago after moving to Dallas as many times as I was able.

With my first child, I was forced into a situation which resulted in a c-section. Dr. Catrambone said he would only induce me 10 days early (which is ridiculous) or schedule me a c-section based on ultrasound measurements of my child. I wanted as natural a delivery as possible, and being naieve, chose the 10 day early induction. Was given pitocin when I wasn't dialated, and ended up with a c-section. Oh the things I have learned since then. I switched practices for the delivery of my other children and haven't had any second thoughts. He is a nice man, very personable, but didn't want to listen to my views. Oh, and my child was only 7 lbs and 18 inches -- not he monster baby as predicted. I was needlessly cut open because he didn't want things to proceed naturally. Beware!!!

Dr. Catrambone has taken care of my mom, and even delivered me nearly 21 years ago now. I now live in North Carolina, but if he were part of my insurance network, I would still get my yearly exams from him.I've never had a problem getting into his office to see him. I usually opt for the 1st appointment of the day, and have never felt rushed in his office. I feel that Dr. Catrambone really listens to my concerns, and has always given me sound medical advice. I have never once felt as if I were being lectured, judged, or misled. His follow up is wonderful. I had Implanon inserted and taken out by him, and he made sure I had follow up appointments for both things in order to make sure everything was fine. When I had it removed, the area around the site became infected and I was able to call his answering service. They paged him and he personally called me back, even though it was around 8:30 at night and not really an emergency. He prescribed an antibiotic for me and helped me make a… follow up appointment for the next day so he could check everything over.I would recommend Dr. Catrambone to anyone who is looking for a good gynecologist. He really takes great care in making sure his patients feel comfortable and to answer all of their questions. His staff has always been very friendly and helpful, too. You really feel appreciated as a patient when you go here.

Dr. Catrambone is a great doctor. I feel very comfortable telling him any problems I may have and he always spends the time needed to address my concerns.I have been going to him for years and would highly recommend him.
