I had my bypass with Dr. Gadaleta in 2001 and no complications. I have followed up periodically still and had a slight revision in 2009. I consider him to be very skilled and he sets realistic expectations. I would recommend him highly.

Dr.Gadaeta saved my life ! I was a overweight mother of 2 before my surgery . I could barely play with my children . He is a highly skilled Doctor and he knows exactly what hes doing. Its up to the patient to follow the rules to avoid complications. People like to blame the Doctor , but most complications from this surgery is from people who are still eating what they shouldn't. If you REALLY are ready to change your life for the better, this is the Doctor thats going to help you do i t.

Dr. Gadaleta performed a RNY Gastric By-pass on me in 2002. He was a skilled and knowledgeable surgeon who I would highly recommend for weight loss surgery.

I had so many complications that were out of the blue..... I know all surgery has risks, but what I went through was avoidable. I think Dr. Gadaleta is a nice man and knows what he is talking about, but he has far too many clients and not enough time to care for them properly.

I had tons of complications after my gastric bypass surgery and Dr. Gadaleta didn't care or help and left me to die. Stay away from him and North Shore Hospital. I needed to go to another hospital and surgeon to save my life.
