Most knowledgeable Dr. and caring Dr. I have encountered. Takes time to talk to you about the causes of your condition and will make sure he covers every area of the problem.

My scare was smaller than others I have scene. It healed well and at a fast pace. If I knew it would turn out so great would have both knees done. He will be doing my other knee replacement. Thanks Dr Fluff

A very busy physician that does better than his best to work with you. He knows his stuff and is a perfectionist. He has a great personality and can inject cortisone painlessly. He has replaced one of my knees and will soon be replacing the other. I trust this doctor with my life. He has a great sense of humor.

Dr. Dewey is an excellent orthopedic surgeon. I wished he had never left Tallahassee, FL.

Had Dewey do my hip 13 years ago but had to do it twice to walk on it never found out what was done to fix it. Just had another Dr. make major replacement to all the parts used said hip placement was unusual and not totally aligned. I’m recovering now and this repair is very stable have no problem putting weight on it 2 days out of surgery. Parts were worn in an unusual manor when removed. Would suggest looking to someone else with hip replacement when you need one done.

This person lied to me for eight months. Promise surgery date that never happened. Talks good game but is A poor performer. Didn't even know why I had an appointment and what for ,more lies ! Don't walk away from this guy run on his first lie and you will be saving A lot of grief.

I have been with Dr. Dewey for 3 years. I was at a loss every Doctor told me I had to have an ankle fusion. Dr. Dewey knew how much I did not want that and he researched and found an ankle replacement that was suitable for me, which has allowed me to keep living my active life. He is such an amazing Dr. He listens to your needs and finds a way to help! You will be VERY pleased with him.

The man is simply a genius when it comes to total knee replacements. I believe he also does hips. I did not want to be put out and he worked with me on that! He kept me pain free at all times and even had a nerve block put in to keep me pain free post-op for a few days. When I had scar pain he ordered a pain gel so that I could sleep. I have a second knee that needs to be replaced and he will be the only MD that touches my knee.

You couldn't get a better surgeon if you went to Shands. Dr. Dewey is the best. Professional, kind, excellent, always follows up, cares about his patients.
