My father went there and was supposed to have injections and on the day of his injections his appointment was dropped without prior notice and referred to another doctor. This doctor does not want the best care for his subjects and turns patients as fast as he can to bill the most out of them. We requested to speak with the doctor waited a month to request a specific injection to be provide as treatment because we had done all of the up front research and reviewed the clinical trial info and determined what injection is best. I bet coercion is the best tactic for this docotor to have his patients consent even if they don’t want too.

While this man has likely helped some people the cluster of 5 star reviews during specific time frames tells me they likely aren’t verified or truthful. What IS accurate are the reviews of this man being an arrogant jerk. You wait forever, he is harsh in his examination, rude in his communication and talks down to his patients. We will never recommend this office to anyone.

I first became a patient of Dr. Donald Maxwell under emergency circumstances when it was discovered I had multiple tears in my retina in both eyes. His immediate and expert action saved my vision and I am forever grateful. Over the 17 years that I've known Dr. Maxwell not only have we become friends, but he has given me very trusted advice and follow-up on matters of the eye that had nothing to do with the brilliant eye surgery he performed long ago. Dr. Maxwell's talents and art as an excellent surgeon and genuine compassion for patients is a very rare trait. The surgery he performed on me many years ago has lasted and we have NEVER had to do a follow-up or touchup surgery. It is a great pleasure for me to visit Dr. Maxwell's office as we share personal stories during my examination every year. His staff is very professional while at the same time very welcoming, knowledgeable and courteous! I recommend Dr. Maxwell to all my acquaintances with Retinal questions or problems. I HAD AN ACCIDENT AND HURT MY EYE. I DIDN'T HAVE A CAR SO HE WORKED WITH ME AROUND WHEN I COULD GET A RIDE. THE ENTIRE STAFF IS AWESOME AND VERY PROFESSIONAL.

The staff are courteous, wee trained and professional. Dr. Maxwell is not their to play games. He is clear and detailed with his diagnose and treatment options. He saved the site in my eye be tog his sense of urgency.

Had to wait an hour and a half before the dr saw me. Other patients said they were waiting 2 hours. I started in the waiting room, then was moved to the hallway, then into an exam room. Other than moving me, no staff said anything to me.
