Dr. Dorene E Dempster, MD

Dr. Dempster was my OBGYN for my second child. I had complications which I told her about. I even felt I could be having an ectopic pregnancy...she did an ultrasound (with old equipment)got snotty with me and said "see, here it is, perfectly normal...see the heart beat?" I said you know it is in the uterus and she gave me a dirty look like of course it is. Less than a week later I was rushed by ambulance to a hospital in horrible pain. She didn't even come in to see me. They released me saying it was probably a miscarriage (She and her partner agree) without even an ultrasound. Later that day, after passing out, I went another hospital to find out that my tube had burst early that morning, I had lots of blood in my uterus and could have died. I heard I was not the first this happened to. Beware!

After several injuries/surgeries I was looking for a safe place for medical care for my second pregnancy. I looked in the wrong place because this is one of the cruelest and most ignorant doctors. I have 22 inches of scars on my body and as I listed my surgical history she "didn't believe it" and kept saying she was "confused." It is a doctor's job to know a patient's surgical/medical history and she was unable to list them correctly in my medical records. I don't know what is wrong with her other than that she is underqualified, incapable and harmful as an md.
