Dr. Leslie Kay Alzuhn-Hansen, MD

I was on my second pregnancy and about 3 months along. I started bleeding and cramping so I called the after-hours line because I was concerned about the pain- everything felt very different than the first pregnancy. When Dr. Leslie Hansen called she said everything was fine and that it was nothing to be concerned about. I then had a very painful miscarriage and when I went for my annual physical, her partner doctor, Dr. Dempster said that I was not pregnant and making up the miscarriage for attention. I had 4 positive pregnancy tests and I was married for 7 years with a 3year old toddler. Dr. Hansen was so dismissive that it makes me wonder how much she talks (gossips) with co-workers. In my opinion, not only is there something very wrong with Dr. Hansen & Dr. Dempster, there is something very wrong with Sturgeon Bay. Stay away.

I was a very early patient of Dr. Hansen...she dismissed my pregnancy issues as a miscarriage when it was actually ectopic. I was bleeding terribly internally and she sent me home without even an ultrasound. I could have died...I lost a tube...thank goodness I had enough sense to not believe her and went to another hospital. She was nice..but needed experience.

I had a 1st of the day appointment with this doctor; she arrivved at her office 15 minutes after my appointment time. She tried to sell me expensive nutritional/hormonal supplements that she apparently sells as part of her other job! Very unprofessional

Dr. Hansen was very nice and friendly. However, I don't feel that she took me seriously when i described the multitude of problems I was having, i.e. severe PMS, mood swings, suicidal depression, unexplained weight gain, etc. She seemed more interested in pushing birth control (IUD), and told me that hormone testing was unnecessary since I was still having regular periods.
