Dr. Dorothy Jane Henderson, MD

After waited for three week I was very disappointment with Dr. Jane Henderson, I Tried to discuss basic health concerns and only got a hostile response to every question. she Talked down to me as if I cannot even evaluate my own health or feelings. I got up and walked out feeling very uncomfortable she only was complaining how behind she was and she had to hurry I felt pressure.. she was rude and very argumentative OVERALL AWFUL PROVIDER AND SHOULD NOT BE PRACTICING !

Dr. Henderson is the kindest doctor I have ever met. She is patient and always willing to answer questions.

Whatever your problem is - - it is YOUR fault. Who else can you ask about your sex life? Your gynecologist? Yes? NO - not Dr. Jane Henderson. You will leave scratching your head. She has NO bedside manner. No comprehension. No compassion. NO. NO. NO. Do not see this doctor. You will leave her office shaken and wondering if what you just experienced actually happened. but it did. How sad. She is awful.

I can't understand a doctor that would rather deny a refill on a prescription for birth control and possibly have a young adult who is trying to be responsible get pregnant than just calling in an extra pack or two for prevention on someone who is a regular patient, comes in yearly on time for exams. Males no sense it's not like a BC pill is a controlled substance to OD on. Switched doctors and couldn't be happier now. Wouldn't even give her one star if I could.

She Is absolutely TERRIBLE! She seems nice, at first but before you know it she becomes VERY condescending!!!!! If you go to see her for a problem , its almost like she trys to talk you out of having it! She tells her patients if they have questions to google them! is she kidding?!! 71 year old patient with post menopausal bleeding and pelvic pain - she said " I don't think this is GYN related - I think you need a colonoscopy" PLEASE for all future patients DO NOT SCHEDULE AN APT WITH HER!!!!!!! She is literally loosing her mind and should not be practicing medicine!

Loved Dr. Henderson's bedside manner! I have seen her multiple times and she really takes the time to get to know you. Appointment booking is about average for the area---it's a pain to book several weeks out, but welcome to Vero. She's worth the wait, my family sent my younger sister to her as well for her first appointment and my sister felt comfortable around her.

I've been seeing Dr. Jane for over 23 years. She delivered my second child 22 years ago, and she is the absolute BEST doctor I have ever seen. Always a smile, always gentle and caring. She hasn't been a provider on my health insurance, but I've paid out of pocket because to me, quality health care is so important and as far as quality goes, she excels!! I just found out that she is not practicing anymore and now I'm at a loss. Back to the 'ol drawing board. I know I'll never find another doctor like her.

Even though she is not included in my PPO, I pay for her out of pocket. No, I am not "well off". I just prefer her over every other GYN I've been to (and pretty much have tried them all in Vero over the span of the last 20 yrs). Dr. Henderson is by FAR, the best. Bedside manner and her care of her patients is outstanding. She is thorough, knowledgable, always has a smile and a reassuring pat when you go in there. I cannot say enough WONDERFUL about this doctor.
