DR BROWN was my physician in Boston & he was the kindest, empathic capable surgeon. I am forever grateful for him and all he did to restore my health. Highly recommend to anyone, especially with complex issues.DR BROWN is my hero.?????

I had a surgery with Dr. Brown. I had scheduled surgery with another doctor and just went to see him for a second opinion. Right on the spot I made appointment with him and canseled one I had. He will explain to you all the little and big details up to the minute after the surgery. Recovery was amazing. No terrible pain following his direction. Only with ibuprofen. Nothing, but professionalism. Best decision.

Similar to other comments - we wish we had met Dr Brown years ago. Yes he is a talented surgeon but the most significant and outstanding quality of his care is that he treats each surgery with the respect to the patients actual situation vs a “procedure”. That is HUGE in terms of having a positive outcome. Can’t say enough positive things about him.

My only regret is that I didn’t find Dr. Brown sooner. I can not say enough good things about him. Thank you, Dr. Brown

Dr. Brown is wonderful! I recently had a laparoscopic hysterectomy with him. My recovery was super easy with little to no pain at all. He’s very easy to talk to and a highly skilled surgeon! I highly recommend him.

I recently had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Brown in Boston MA for a consult and then for him to perform a laparoscopy. The procedure was done to remove endometriosis not only in my pelvic region but as well as some located in the abdominal wall. This was my 4th lap so I was very familiar with the process. However, Dr. Brown surpassed my expectations with his knowledge and skills that he brought to the table (literally!!). His bedside manner is phenomenal, very reassuring throughout the process and adds a great sense of humor which can be hard to come by with medical professionals. I urge woman who are or think they are struggling with endometriosis to have a consult with this doctor, his expertise regarding the disease is unparalleled compared to a regular gynocologist. I will need another surgery in the future gyno related and there’s no doubt i’ll be reaching back out to Dr. Brown when that time comes. Would also like to add that the staff he works with at Mass General were all… fantastic. Hands down one of the best experiences especially considering surgery is never a fun event!!

Goes over and beyond to make His patients feel at ease. Very knowledgeable and confident of what he is doing. He went over everything and explained it all. He has a great personality as well. Glad I found / got a 2nd opinion and choose Dr Brown for My surgery, could not have found a better Doctor.

I had surgery with Dr. Douglas Brown of Mass. General Hospital in Boston on December 2, 2017 for a lyproscopic hysterectomy. The entire operation went smoothly with no complications and minimal pain and barely any scarring. I was a highly anxious patient but Dr. Brown and his staff immediately put me at ease. I felt confident in his care the moment I met him. He was kind and genuine and took the time to explain everything and ease my anxiety. I am so happy I met Dr. Brown and chose him to do my surgery. I originally saw him for a second opinion from another top surgeon at another top Boston hospital but I immediately knew I wanted to have Dr Brown as my surgeon because of his kind manner and his outstanding reputation. I did my research to find the best surgeon and all of his reviews were terrific and when I met him in person he was everything that his reviews had stated: kind, skilled and genuine. I am forever grateful to Dr Brown and his staff for giving me my life back!

Dr. Brown is wonderful. He is caring and made me feel comfortable in the office and operating room. I was having a problem for over a year and when I went to see Dr. Brown he helped me and figured out the problem when nobody else could. His staff is nice and helpful. I would never go to anyone else but Dr. Brown. Wonderful.
