Rude and has the personality ofy shoe. Went to him when I was 19 years old and walked out of his office. Was refered to him by my Primary at the age of 43 and the guy is still am incompetent jerk. Does not listen, could care less about his patients and has at least 3 malpractice claims against him. Stay FAR, FAR AWAY.

This doctor is the most incompetent physician I have ever dealt with. I won’t even waste my time explaining my situation. Beware go someplace else !

Dr Petroski treated me for arthritic knee pain for several years using various pain relieving methods such as cortisone shots until the arthritis became so advanced that the shots no longer had any effect on pain. When surgery for full knee replacement became the best option he carefully explained everything I needed to know about the pending surgery and what I could expect after surgery. Our local hospital also held "classes" to further go over details of surgery from hospitals point of view which Dr. Petroski recommended. I had the surgery and the results were totally successful. The Dr. recommended a femoral block to help cope with immediate post surgical pain . I had that in the recovery room where the anesthesiologist woke me enough to confirm that I wanted the shot but then put me back under enough that I never felt the shot. I was walking when I left the hospital 3 days later. After a post surgery period which included adequate pain medication and physical therapy my knee is… better than new! There have been no complications and it is now 4 years since the surgery. I always found his staff to be extremely courteous and helpful and even remarked on how well run the office is. I would highly recommend him.

This man is one of the worst in pinpointing pain and making it known to a WC board. He lies and cheats patients out of care they desperately need to continue on as a normal member of society after waiting around for the employers insurance company to approve or deny treatments. I would fight anyone who is trying to send you there for an independent medical exam. He the the insurance company's favorite because he misdiagnoses all the time. He is the most terrible doctor I have ever seen. Find someone else. I also cannot believe how unprofessional his office is. Orthopedic surgeon in a foot doctor place that displays good shoes for your back. Very similar to a chiropractor office. The staff is miserable. It seems like they get paid to socialize and get angry when they actually have to do their job. I am fighting his diagnosis and recommendations because he doesn't know what he is talking about. I wouldn't recommend this doctor to my worst enemy. He doesn't know his butt from a hole in… the ground.

He misdiagnosed me causing great pain

Very unsympathetic & cold towards pain.when I told Dr petroski about the serious pain I was in, he laughed and told me not to play football!! Told me my back was healing, without looking at my MRI, I had severely hurniated disk, that was causing major pain,the disk was pinching the nerve root. ended up going to a different Dr,to get a diagnosis, and surgery. I would never recommend Dr petroski to anyone!

Let me start with the staff, they are very unfriendly , when you check in they act like you are bothering them, and NOT one of those girls EVER smile. Now let's talk about Dr.Petroski, his bedside manner is absolutely terrible , my p.t . told me that most surgeons only deal with their patients when they are asleep and don't know how to interact with patients when they are awake. Well , if that is true , which is exactly what I have experienced with Dr. Petroski, perhaps surgeons should learn how to deal with people when they are awake. Anyway, my experience with this doctor's office has not been a good one at all. And I do not recommend anyone they go to this office for anything unless , you want to feel like you are a BIG inconvenience, on top of what ever else you have going on. I am still a patient there and am not happy about it

After hearing from a coworker, I have reservations about this doctor who was assigned to us in an ER visit. I am going to seek another opninion.
