Dr. Douglas Adam Schechter, MD

In my VERY short new patient visit with Dr. Schechter, he walked in the room and immediately asked where I was feeling pain and said we should do a spinal cord injection - I told him I thought this was a big leap and asked him if he had even looked at my chart - He then repeatedly asked me what I wanted to do and even asked if he could examine me (? why else would I be there?) which consisted only of me lifting up my arm and turning my head - In the end, Dr. Schechter recommended an MRI of my neck, put me on a steroid and said to follow-up in one month - Dr. Schechter spent no time getting to know me or my history, BARELY examined me, did not attempt to discuss or explain what I was experiencing and/or what various treatment may be available - Very disappointed with this doctor and this visit
