Dr. Douglas Martin Stauch, MD

Dr. Staunch is a smart individual. He knows when people want disability for life. I was his patient when he practiced in Bryan, TX. I got along with him fine and he cured my elbow nerve impingement. He does have a dry sense of humor, but that has nothing to do with his knowledge or skills. I opine that his poor ratings by others is because they are not getting what the want.

Does not begin to understand what RSD/CRPS condition is, which is pitiful because it is a devastating condition that if not diagnosed and medically treated in 3 months of onset, may not be reversed. It is a devastating, extremely painful condition that can be caused by a simple minor sprain/strain, or soft tissue injury. You sir are a reckless doctor who was suppose to examine me for my 1994 injury to my back, neck and following migraines after my C4-C5 anterior fusion, who proceded to evaluate me on my 1996 injury to my right shoulder that developed into RSD/CRPS. It was not your call to make so rather than throw out your exam because you did not correctly exam or write on the correct subject the w/c insurance company sent it to the other w/c insurance company to say that according to you, I did not have RSD/CRPS. Well 20+ physicians think your diagnosis of me was incorrect and you need to really educate yourself on what RSD/CRPS-I and Causalgia/CRPS-II is. You may then, if your… lucky, begin to realize that CRPS can and IS caused by a simple sprain/strain of the arm or leg and it is seen as one of the most severe pain that exists according to the McGill Scoring of Pain. You must of heard of that since you are an orthopedists. Now you need to educate yourself about RSD/CRPS, it has been around since the Civil War. Severe, stabbing, burning, aching pain that doesn't heal. When should a simple sprain or strain not heal...because it probably is CRPS! CRPS needs to be medically treated correctly with pain program which includes SGB's x3 and then continue to help them rebuild their strength slowly and not just zip them back into the work force because relapse is common. You are a very confused, ignorant man who is obviously not keeping up with conditions of trauma/injury of people. This is bad news for an orthopedic doctor.

I had a MMI done last week and Doulgas Stauch was very rude I was there 5 min and this doctor lied about everything. Is this the way the board of insurance thing of injuried people. Maybe they should get RSD and they see what it feel like to hurt every day even after taking medication. This is why people give up on life because of doctors like this. Medical Board Of Insurance I think you should find medical doctors not a person with no bedside manner.

This so called Dr. has cheated so many people out of their claims and treatment that he should be ashamed of himself. He is basically a crooked politician and a bought and paid for insurance Dr. I have been getting worse since he did a review and deemed that treatment and medication were not necessary. Thanks to a free country he will probably get away with being a crook until the medical board takes his license.

douglas m stauch with medical records showing ruptured discs for 10 years and a mild exam for workers comp decided for the report to them that the only thing they are now responsible for is "strains."What A joke. I read other reviews and expected something bad as a result of seeing him but couldnt believe to get me off the books of just medication and doctor visit once a month someone would get paid to misuse their MD.
